Avalanche
Maze Rooms - Robertson Blvd
Escape room
IRL
this is an escape room I still think about 2 years later. While some of the puzzles didn’t really flow, the set design was some of the best I’ve ever seen. So damn cool
Benjamin Franklin's Invention Room
Escape Room Era - Anaheim
Escape room
IRL
This was the first escape room I had ever done and I remember it being so exciting to do. If I had done it now that I’ve done so many I might’ve found the puzzles lacking, but it was perfect for my experience level at the time
Whatever Happened To The Garretts?
Maze Rooms - West LA

Elevator to Hell
BrainXcape Escape Room NYC
Escape room
IRL
This was a horrible disappointment. The concept seemed so promising, but any cool tech aspects they could’ve incorporated were left out. The ending was abrupt, and overall it was just pretty boring
Escobar: Part 1 (The Betrayal)
The Escape Revolution
Escape room
IRL
I found this one pretty hard, just because of the amount of elements, but the set design and the props and the production value were excellent!
Gold Rush
The Escape Game - New York
Escape room
IRL
I loved the atmosphere, loved the puzzles, and there were some great surprises too. I’m curious to see how much more I would’ve liked this at a different branch, because the NYC Escape Game is very compact, but even still it was so fun!!
High Speed NYC
Exit Escape Room NYC
Escape room
IRL
Definitely my favorite room at this location! I thought this concept was awesome. A lot of escape rooms in NYC are lacking, but this one was super immersive! The puzzles could’ve been better, it was just a little too easy even with only 2 people. But a great starter room!
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
60Out - Melrose
Escape room
IRL
This room was really fun. Perfect for a group of 4-6! There were so many tech elements and the atmosphere was great. Getting to pick your characters was something I hadn’t seen before either and really got me immersed. What DIDN’T get me immersed was our game master coming on the speaker to give unsolicited advice every 5-10 minutes. I don’t get why they ask us to be unanimous in our wanting hints if they’re just gonna tell us anyways. My one critique with the game itself was that the second room was so nonlinear that it was hard to tell which things/tech correlated to which puzzles. All in all we had a great time. We were laughing, screaming, and it was definitely one of the more memorable ones I’ve done!
Laboratory of Biohazard
Omescape New York
Escape room
IRL
This room was so old and run down looking. The puzzles were average. Nothing memorable
Mafia Heist
EscapeX Rooms - Irvine
Escape room
IRL
I did this room with 6 other people and it was FAR too many for this room. I maybe would’ve enjoyed it with like 3 people, but it felt like there was too little to do and we got out with AMPLE time
Mob Heist [prev. The Perfect Heist]
Exit Escape Room NYC
Escape room
IRL
I still had a lot of fun, but this was probably my least favorite game at this location. Some of the puzzles were good, but the room felt very old
