Gold Rush was the first room I did at The Escape Game, so there's an additional "wow" factor for doing the first room in the franchise. In each step of Gold Rush, the beginning allows for the work to be split, but then the room gets linear, and some people could be left standing around. This was also the easiest room in my opinion. My group and I got out with 20 minutes left to spare. There is one part of the room that requires a bit of skill (so having more people guarantees that someone has that skill), which was the only thing that held us up.

Loved this game! We went as a group of 2 adults with moderate experience (~20 games) and had a BLAST in this room. We narrowly escaped but it was still doable with 2 people. Probably my favorite room Iβve done with The Escape Game so far!

This room was totally amazing! I can see why we've been told it's a staple at many locations of this company!!! The theming was really well done, I appreciated the fact that it was a multi-level room where you go up and down. It really felt like we were moving from scenario to scenario as opposed to just going from one closet to another. I thought that there were a lot of really unique puzzles, some that require more interaction than you normally get in rooms corporate locations. This is a big plus for anybody who has played more than a couple of games anywhere and is looking for something slightly more challenging. I know that it's touted as a lower difficulty level, but I'd argue that it was more challenging than several of the other games we've played at The Escape Game. Or at least the puzzles were better, so it felt more difficult than games that reuse the same sort of puzzles over and over. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I think that the part of the game where you shoot the BB gun probably needs to be updated, because unfortunately my husband who was in the military kept hitting the targets and they wouldn't go over. Also the board underneath the targets is completely shot out. Whatever alcohol bottle is on the windowsill needs a new label. Looks like at some point someone ripped it off and put it back on in pieces. It does not look like it was meant to be ripped up. It made it very difficult to figure out a puzzle that requires that piece to be read correctly before you can move on to other pieces that require you to keep moving linearly.

To get to the second room of this challenge, you are required to walk up a set of steep stairs, leaving the second room of the challenge you are required to take a slide. You can bypass the slide by going back out the main door of the room and going back in the exit of the room, either way though, in order to participate in the second room of this challenge you will have to be able to navigate the stairs. The first room is very dark, they do provide flashlights. My husband is legally blind in one eye, so this room presented a challenge for him, because some of the things in the dark you have to be able to see at a distance while using the flashlight.

This game is so so cool. The set is crazzzzyyy cool and I love the multi tiers to this game. Feels so complex but simple at the same time

It was very fun! The gameplay was great, and the story was too. The introduction video was on point, so everybody in my group could understand the room. The design of the room was very good too! Very immersive! I love an escape room that includes multiple rooms, this one did! It really felt like you was in a mine! The puzzles was alright, some locks but also some more creative. All in all a great room!!!

The room itself was super fun- however I do have issues with some of the tardiness policy at this location. I understand this is a shared experience and we had 2 people who were booked with us and they were late. We started the room (after giving them a 5 min grace time) and they came in when we had 45 min left on the clock and completed the first portion of the room already. When they arrived it was extremely disruptive. The burden was on us to catch them up and wasting time on the clock to do so. If this location forces a shared experience, there needs to be stricter policies to allow for everyone to enjoy what they paid for. They should not have let them in the room 15 mins after the clock started and this ruined the experience for everyone as they demanded for us to catch them up and ruined the flow of the game.
