We were fortunate enough to beta test this room, but I wanted to wait to see the fully fleshed out finished product before writing my review. I carefully planned to make sure this would be our 100th room because we wanted to mark the occasion with a truly special experience. TEV is so highly regarded for a reason. They craft fully immersive experiences and this was on a whole other level. The set design is out of this world. It’s incredibly atmospheric. You feel like you’ve been transported. The sounds and the environment make you feel the cold, the storm, the urgency. The GM’s involvement is fun and not overdone. The variety of unconventional and creative puzzles is fabulous. Going through “officially” after beta testing, we got to take time to enjoy all of the little touches - the new decorative elements, the puzzle tweaks, the polish and razzle dazzle. This is truly a special and unique experience. The theme is not one we’ve ever seen and the TEV team absolutely knocked it out of the park on all levels in all facets. This is a must-do room.
