Jungle QuestGameSide l'Expérience ImmersiveEscape roomIRLExcellent escaperoom, and a surprising find in this area. Atmosphere and decoration is very well done, the flow is great with parallel puzzles available, and the experience is quite high tech with almost no mechanical lock. They have incorporated elements from the Jumanji movie quite well. Immersive! The only thing I would adjust is the very long introduction.
La Llorona [The Weeping Woman]Terror Stories by Experiencity - Sevilla [prev. La Llorona Escape Room]Escape roomIRLI dont want to diss the owners who clearly put in the effort but I think its overhyped. Not as scary as expected (which is okay, doesnt matter to me) but the puzzle and gameflow was weak. The GM narrated us along the entire way and the hard part was not understand what was said due to the voice transformer. Maybe it’s better in Spanish. Puzzles felt disconnected from the story and the story itself wasn’t very satisfying concluded either. A bit typical horror room that uses the scare factor as a crutch to get by, at the expense of clever design. The live actor was good though, and they didnt make it impossibly dark which was great.
Game of StonesHintlabyrinthEscape roomIRLThe difficulty was almost exclusively due to “timesink” tasks, that were not worth the name of puzzle. You know what you have to do, it’s just tedious. Little of the puzzles made sense, lots of double interpretations (even in the hints), untimely given hints that confused us, unable to ask or prevent getting hints. Simply not fun. The one redeeming quality was the all mechanical locks, no keys
Druidas Y Mazmorras [Druids And Dungeons]La Casa De Las Habitaciones MálagaEscape roomIRLWell made room with beautiful decor. A little heavy on the traditional locks, but some sensor work as well. Puzzles were clever without being frustrating and had a good flow to them. They also felt coherent and thematic. Most of the time there were 2 or 3 in parallel, which is great. Hint system is interesting.
