The game wasn’t fully reset when we started, so some things were already unlocked that shouldn’t have been. 

Game was split into 2 teams at a certain point, which is fine, except that when one team would work on a puzzle and couldn’t solve it, and another team worked on the same puzzle later, sometimes the host would offer an unrequested hint to the second team which gave them an unfair advantage. 

On top of that, a player on one team could be working on a puzzle that required them to leave the lock location to find some information, and another team could swoop in and steal the spot and solve the puzzle faster after hearing a hint that was offered to the other person. 

Also, the speaker for hints was both hard to hear because the volume was too low against the music, and the speaker muffled his voice a bit so it wasn’t clear. 

It did have a different style of play to most rooms, but that also changed the game so it wasn’t as much of an escape room as it was a high tech version of a board game I could play at home.
