The Timekeeper's Trapped!

This was my 100th escape room. My whole family played with me. 12 people in one room is very inclusive but it was also chaotic. They were very sweet and put a special message on the screen in the room when we escaped. For experienced escapees, I’d recommend 4-6 people. Most of this group had played 0-5 escape rooms so it required them to team up to solve puzzles

Great room and fantastic company. They did a wonderful job accommodating our group for a wedding proposal. Definitely helped create a lasting memory!

A very puzzle-dense room. Definitely the most difficult room at Escape Factor

Overall a decent room with an unusual theme. This felt pretty puzzle-heavy, certainly the most of the games at Escape Factor.

Interesting puzzles, very fun. Would recommend for puzzle fans.

Nice room. I’d definitely recommend. Pretty unique puzzles and the story and set fit together well. My main complaint would be that a lot of the locks are the same type so when you solve a puzzle it’s not necessarily obvious which lock that corresponds to. Also Jay was a very friendly game master. She was on top of giving us nudges.

I loved this room. It was spacious with tons of interesting puzzles to work on. The puzzles were all on theme and some were massive! This was definitely a harder room, so I wouldn’t do this one unless you have experience.

The Timekeeper's Trap: Locked in the den of a crazy clockmaker, tick-tock will we be able to unlock the lock? Is time on our side? Pros: The owner and game master was a delightful individual who thoroughly made us feel welcome and excited to play. He stayed in the room with us and carried us through troubled times or whenever we found ourselves at a loss. The room had a unique theme and the set design was clearly tied to this theme. Many of the puzzles were quite clever and we appreciated their connection to the story. Cons: There were so many clock-related puzzles that our brains are still numb from the temporal experience. We had puzzle overload all around. We thought we did fairly well in progressing through the many, MANY puzzles, until time ran out and we were told how many more we had to go. If it were not for the helpful hints of the game master we probably would not have progressed as far as we did since most of the puzzles were overly complicated and convoluted, requiring some translation in order to solve them. Overall we think we liked it but we are not entirely sure since our thinking tool kind of shut down midway through this game. So we will get back to you on that one when it is up and running again.

Make time for this entirely clocks-based room! This room had pretty much every time-related puzzle you could think of, and each one was presented in very different and clever ways. Watch out if you don’t like math or reading time, but for me, I completely clicked-clocked with these puzzles. Biggest issue was there are a lot of locks, and it isn’t always clear what goes where. It’s also gonna be tough for smaller groups, but it’s very doable, especially if you gel with math puzzles. If you like how that sounds, give an hour hand and clock in!
