The Last Job

I want to preface this review by saying the game itself is a cool concept and has well thought out puzzles. Me and my girlfriend played and it was challenging and fun and we did enjoy a lot of the room however it felt like our GM / hosts did not put a lot of care into our experience. We had a lock that was fully unlocked when we were trying to solve it and as someone who’s played close to 100 rooms it was disappointing to see but we carried on. Later in the game we needed a certain amount of pieces for a puzzle and we did not have one in the game so they tossed it under the door which felt very careless. We ended up not escaping (which is totally fine) however our GM came in at the end and told us we were at the end and just straight up told us how to get out (it was something that if we had 1 extra minute we would have escaped). The interaction after our game felt like they wanted to close and not deal with us and it really tainted our experience as we were having lots of fun asides from the mistakes. This room felt like a solid 8-9 out of 10 but the mistakes and GM experience we received made our experience feel more like a 4-5 out of 10 unfortunately. If you like unique escape rooms definitely give it a go but maybe don’t go as last game of the night as it felt like they wanted to prioritize getting us out then giving us an amazing experience which honestly left us bummed for paying 50$ each

From the moment we walked in we knew this experience was going to be fun. Our GM, Gunner, was an absolute delight and made our experience all-the-more enjoyable. The room itself was incredibly unique, and although we've done nearly 100 rooms, this was nothing like anything we had seen before. The puzzles and atmosphere were incredible, and the immersion made us feel like we were actually in a heist. Overall 10/10 experience, would highly recommend for everyone. We did it with a party of 4 and weren't very cramped, but i would still recommend smallerparties like 2-4.

We absolutely loved this game! It was perfect for 2 players, I think any more would be a bit cramped. The game flowed nicely and the puzzles weren’t too difficult. All of the games at confusion are top tier!!!

Confusion Escapes does some top notch escape rooms! This was a fun one with the truck and different rooms they had, puzzles were also unique and they made you feel immersed in the heist. A combo of linear and divide and conquer in this room. GM was awesome, will come back and do more of their rooms.

Coming back to fill in the review later, but GM Mya deserves a HUGE shoutout. Amazing GM, and she allowed us 15 extra minutes to play and finish since no one was booked behind us.

I rate this room a 4/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). The set/theme were super cool and unique, definitely 2 pts here. A prop like no other, let's just say! The heist theme was executed so well from all the stolen goods to money flying everywhere! 💰 Puzzles were good - some tech but the majority consisted of locks. Nothing too novel though so 1 pt here. I really enjoyed this game (1 pt). There were some unexpected surprises but we didn't quite finish due to entering the wrong numbers on the very last puzzle! 🤦‍♀️ Unfortunately, frustration surrounding trying to identify where something is in the last few moments changed my enjoyment a bit. The GM was kind enough to give us a second chance at the last part which was very kind and allowed us to at least finish the game. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better 100th escape experience! 🎖️🎊

Excellent, top notch room. Great high budget props, great tech, great puzzle flow, all the way around great. Everything an escape room should be. Treehouse is our personal favorite, but this was a close second.

VERY cool production value. A couple of technical issues that were handled quickly but not explained...so we didn't understand that there had been an issue and kept trying to solve broken puzzle. Other than that, fabulous room - one of the coolest themes we've done.

would be happier if the store could open earlier (we arrived 15min earlier as told) and GM gave better timing reminder.

Fun game. We were a little disappointed that the business wasn’t open when we arrived, and we ended up starting late. The GM wasn’t very welcoming at first but got better as the game went on. I wish she would have told us the game was staunchly linear and once we left a room, we didn’t need to go back. Some items broke when we used them and hints were sometimes a little delayed but all in all it was a fun. The truck was really cool.
