Das Verbotene Spiel [The Forbidden Game]

Second room of 3 that we did at this location, of our Escape Tour in Germany. Again it main uniqueness that it is in a big navel ship. Similar standard as Neptune Curse in terms of immersive environment and puzzles. Recommended for newbie and experienced players.

I really had a lot of fun in this room. It was really well designed and it had a nice and spooky atmosphere. It was a lot of fun getting spooked here and there but not to the point where it got annoying. The riddles are also very logical and were fun to solve but followed the same general structure as the other Hidden Games escape rooms. Still can very much recommend this room to everyone. If you are very scared of horror just let them know and they will make it way less spooky for you :)

Wanna go and see how well you would do in a jumanji scenario? Well, this room is perfect for you! Even though I was creeped out most of the time, it was a very nice room with riddles that were well integrated into the story. Lots of audio book elements, which I am a big fan of. Our gamemaster did a good job scaring us (or me specifically) but that's just what you have to expect when playing this room. The atmosphere was great, the scenery was amazing! Definitely worth playing just for that. Riddles were easy enough so solve under the circumstances but again, nothing quite new if you have already played at hidden before.

I played this game with three of my coworkers (all gamemasters) and one friend. This game is definitely a horrorgame. Since they knew we were gamemaster, they did not hold back when it came to making the atmosphere scary. Me and one of my coworkers were actually crying at some point and were glad when it was over. The room design was nice. Not too special or full of details though. I actually expected more for the price they want for the games. The riddles were quite easy. Could have been harder and more interesting in my opinion. The story is actually quite interesting and I enjoyed the theme a lot, especially since we immediately got into the story and stayed in it until the end. The gamemaster was fine. I had the feeling she had to trigger some things herself though since some things triggered a bit late when we had the solution. All in all: not my favorite room, but it was fun. It's scary enough to be called an actual horrorgame and I think it's cute that they're also able to turn it kid-friendly. Riddles could still be more difficult though. 3/5

Very fun game! Two of the people I went with started crying, I wouldnt say tho its necessarily the fault of the room. Puzzles were very fun just one or two I didn’t particularly enjoyed myself. If you seek for a fun and scary entertainment pick this room for sure!

If you want to be creeped out and grope in the dark from time to time, you've found your next adventure. The puzzles vary from easy to head-scratching. Something for everyone
