Roomangie [Room Angie]

GM said a new version is coming, with better English accessibility! Was very wary of this theme - not a fan of the movie, though I remember the children's book well. It ended up being great, with unique puzzles, great set pieces, and a hefty amount of running around to accomplish everything in the time allotted. The English audio was terrible, so better to play in Spanish if you can. The GM didn't speak English, so I took to the lead at the beginning, and they played English audio for the team. However, the English audio was so strongly accented, that we couldn't understand it, so ultimately fell back on the Spanish and I translated. GM told me the next iteration will be more fully playable in English, and they're making some improvements and expanding the game. Looking forward to the next version!

The game itself starts off in an ordinary-looking living room which reveals some surreal surprises. I wouldn't consider this a top room, but it's fine room to do if you're in town. All of the text in the game had translations provided with one exception the potion instructions which the GM translated for us. Red herrings and a few badly-clued and fussy puzzles were the only blemishes on an otherwise lovely experience.
