Permanently Closed - You are all brave Vampire Hunters on the trail of the infamous Count Antoine Baltar. You have tracked him to his secret lair but unfortunately, he is a very powerful Vampire and only one weapon can defeat him: The stake of Van Helsing. He has that stake which is hidden somewhere in his manor. Can you gain access to Baltar’s crypt? Hurry locate the stake, and end his reign of terror before sundown?

The room itself was pretty unique, and the puzzles were straightforward for the most part. I think there was a couple jump scares, but nothing that was super crazy. I would say comparatively to other games we’ve done in the area it is middle of the road.

the game itself was cool but the puzzles were challenging and some didn’t make sense to us. our game master was nice but didn’t help us whatsoever. i’m pretty sure we were their last game of the night which yeah, sucks and they want us to finish quickly but that’s no excuse for taking time from us during the game. i literally saw them subtracting time in the middle of the game and they saw that i noticed and added it back

We entered the lobby and no one was there to greet us for at least 10-15 mins. This was after deciding to show up because I couldn’t reach a person to book the room despite the website telling you to call in to book and that someone would call back (which never happened). The GM seemed inattentive when asking for a clue and when we couldn’t get out of the room he didn’t offer to let us complete the room. Ok fine, but the explanation to get out was not explained well. He seemed more worried about playing video games in the employee room which was visible when walking back from the bathroom. He didn’t seem to care that we were there and wanted to get us in-and-out.
Gameplay
The game had terrible flow and some of the puzzles made no sense at all, making you waste a lot of time. Was not a fun experience. We had 20 minutes left and when we got to the second part to realize we were barely halfway through.

It was very hard but not for the sake of being challenging. Too. Many. Locks. Boxes within boxes. This room contained every pet-peeve that I have in bad escape rooms.
