You are secret service agent Jack Lanman, personal bodyguard to the President of the United States onboard Secret Air Mission 27000, also known as Air Force One. You are returning from a European trip with the President that included the G7 Global Economic summit. At the summit it was declared that meaningful discussions with Russia were not possible after Mikhail Gorbachev, leader of the Soviet Union continually refused to meet the President to discuss global peace enhancing the threat to the United States and the rest of the World. You are on the final leg of your journey, high above the clouds in US airspace en-route to the next Presidential meetings in Dallas, Texas. Suddenly and without warning, each of the four engines on the Boeing VC-137C stop, and the emergency security override puts the plane into a controlled glide towards the surface. The 45,000 feet of altitude will buy you time, but what has caused the engines to suddenly fail? You soon realize that you are in the center of a serious act of sabotage specifically aimed at taking out the President with no thought for casualties, including you! Whoever is responsible has also kidnapped the flight crew so you are alone to solve the mystery and attempt to bring the stricken aircraft safely back to earth. Your mission is to restart the engines and safely land the plane. You will need to establish your position and learn how to safely engage the autopilot to give yourselves any chance of survival. But first, you need to find which of the crew is not a genuine member of the Secret Service and is, in fact, a Spy whose final mission is to eliminate the President in an attempt to destroy the United States. Do you have the necessary skills to uncover the carefully laid plot? Can you keep your nerve under extreme pressure as the plane slowly loses altitude? A maximum glide time of 60 minutes gives you one shot at becoming a world hero, forever remembered for saving AIr Force One, the President, and all lives on board. Or will time run out before you have chance to complete your mission?

25 escape rooms
They have some pretty good rooms… just need to change them out more often and maybe stay up to date with broken stuff cause there’s been times I’ve gone and stuff doesn’t open

Game play was fun, immersive. We did find it tricky and did not end up escaping. We got pretty close at the end but couldn’t solve the last couple puzzles.
The GM was not attentive for this one. We have played several games at this chain and location and she was not paying attention, barely gave us an explanation about what we needed to complete the escape at the end.

A really awesome game that used its layout to its advantage as it felt like you were walking through a plane as you moved through each room. And each room was actually well done and felt meaningful to the story. Overall, the puzzles truly fit the story and it was a ton of fun. Only two things really fell short in the room. One seems to just be a symptom of their rooms: a lackluster ending that elicits a “that’s it?” The other was minor, but the room did require outside knowledge that doesn’t feel like common knowledge which is always a gripe of mine. In this case, we possessed that but not everyone might. Still, it was overall a fantastic experience inside the room. The airplanes seats by the way…SO COMFY!
Staff wasn’t super welcoming, it felt a little like we were an inconvenience to them. The guy who brought us into our room was nice explained way too much before we started and it got confusing with “well this opens and this doesn’t open and this opens this and that doesn’t open” and then “I recommend you start with that” and “this is where you put in the code to exit” and everything else that he explained. We were honestly really turned around by the end of it but he was nice enough at least.

The setting does a lot to sell the story
Medium
As mentioned, there is one puzzle that requires some outside knowledge which we thankfully possessed but it’s always a concern.
High tech
Mostly key pads or electriconic puzzles with a few locks or mechanical puzzles thrown in. It made sense given the plane setting.

There was one thing that we initially thought was not properly reset but was actually a great misdirection which I actually loved. However, they always have tons of monitors in their rooms and a few were glitching which took us out of the immersion a little. One puzzle that we solved although it seemed to lead nowhere or it didn’t do anything. It could have just been a red herring or time waster as nothing seemed to happen.

Tons of seating in each area. Two puzzles involving color in some way.

Escapology is one of the best companies in the area, and MayDay was a delightful game. My husband and I don't get stumped very often, but this one really hit us hard. We needed a couple more sets of eyes to handle this one. The puzzles were challenging, the atmosphere was stunning, and the staff - as always - rocked!

The staff at this location is always very kind! This room was not our favorite, but it was still so fun and the decorations are always nice. The only down side was the puzzles, many of them were very confusing and some required outside knowledge.

I really liked the atmosphere! They did a really good job making it feel like a plane. I know some other people said you need outside knowledge to complete this escape room & I don’t feel that way at all. However, there were a few challenging & confusing moments, especially with one of the puzzles; it was unnecessarily challenging, honestly, and I would even say faulty. Even the game master wasn’t able to do it right when she tried showing us how to do it. It was nice to see the room just for the immersive atmosphere itself, but gameplay wasn’t the best and the faulty puzzle was enough to ruin the good stuff. Also ***semi-spoiler but not really ahead*** be aware of the fact that when you do something towards the end it opens up something unexpected all the way in the first room that you will need and you’ll have no way of knowing that 🤣 same with another step that suddenly makes something in the second room work, but you never know when. The set was great the puzzles were good for the first half. But the puzzles on the second half required outside information and it destroyed the experience. Make sure you understand aviation if you play this.

Room was well themed and overall if everything had been working it wouldve been a fun game but in the last room there was a puzzle that was broken and no one said anything when we were messing around with it to tell us it was broken so it was impossible to get out of the room

Love it, it is just like a real plane! It was a hard one. But we only have 2 peoples, my game master told us we only completed about 70 percent of the room, so we consider to challenge it again😆

A fun room that may need a little knowledge in History! The first room was super great with interesting puzzles, second room’s puzzles were not as great, and the last room’s puzzles just was confusing and random. Atmosphere was really cool though with nice surprises!
