Overall really liked this room! You felt as if you were actually a pet in a pet shop trying to escape. There was limited space, so not great for big groups. Mostly linear but a lot of things to look at and do at the very beginning to try and get your bearings. If you love animals and biology, this is a great room for you.

The theme was one we haven’t seen before and done as if you’re the pets- the room was set up that way with the decor as well and it was really immersive.

I’m going to start by saying that we love Riddlers Escape rooms and frequent the Tampa location and have loved every room we’ve done with them so far. This room was fun, HOWEVER, about 15 minutes in we encountered a lock that the key (which was the same color as the lock) wouldn’t open. We assumed it must be for another lock (there was another similar smaller key lock nearby but it was a different color). We tried the other lock and it was clearly wrong, so we both tried the first lock again, multiple times, and kept saying out loud that the key didn’t fit and it seemed like something was wrong. We moved on and completed a couple of other things we still had to work on, but soon came back to the lock. We tried again and decided we needed a hint (we had not taken a hint at this point). Well the hint told us to find the lock we were already working on. So we told the game master it wasn’t working. He paused the game and came in, sure enough it was switched by someone and the key did not work for that lock. After about 5 minutes he found the correct key and we moved on. The thing is, we had wasted at least 10 if not 15 minutes on this stupid lock, it cost us a hint, which was the only one we used, and then the GM had the nerve to tell us we missed the cutoff time for the leaderboard. Are you kidding me? We wouldn’t have missed the board if it hadn’t been for their mistake switching the lock. Not happy with the experience or the GMs clear attitude about it. Honestly, a good GM would’ve picked up on the fact that we were trying that lock for way too long. If he had been watching us play (which I guarantee he wasn’t because he told us he didn’t see us trying the lock and that he only saw us try it in the wrong lock, total BS if he was actually watching) then we would’ve crushed the time, as it was we only missed it by less than 8 minutes or something. So annoying, such a crappy way to handle it by them, and a terrible mark on an otherwise fun escape room company. Sadly we won’t be going back to this location in the future.

Surprisingly fun with great design for a location otherwise a bit stuck in the pre-COVID escape business. The GMs were blasé about escape rooms and came into the room with us, in T shirts and out of character (why not be in character to build the immersion? It takes no extra costs). Antiquated policies like no photos in the room hold this back from being a top notch place. Nevertheless, highly recommend this room!

GMs were fine, but they didnt seem to love escape rooms or know some basic common practice in the industry (no props from the room were allowed in the photos and no photos taken inside the room)

If you have young kids, do this room with them! It is such a fun room to do and perfect for kids or anyone who has never done an escape room and is looking for something with low stakes. We did this with our 7-year old daughter and we loved every second of it.

Very small room, and fairly linear. I would only recommend for 2 people. Really fun puzzles, but an overabundance of riddles. I guess that why it's called, "Riddlers."
