You don’t remember anything. A dull pounding of pain rocks through the back of your head. As your eyes adjust to the darkness, your memory starts to return. You decided to help an old hitchhiker on the side of the road. Having played a few different Strike rooms I kinda knew what to expect with this one. The puzzles were very straightforward, had a nice flow and fit the spooky manor theme nicely, there just wasn’t enough of them to comfortably fill out a 50 minute experience. The story and immersion were where this one really fell down though. Having it set up in the same space as a bowling alley, the music from outside is extremely prevalent to a point where even listening to our GM’s instructions became a challenge. Could be our fault for booking on a busy Friday night but still, not ideal. Despite all this we still had a good time and our GM Harry was awesome!
