Having played a few different Strike rooms I kinda knew what to expect with this one. The puzzles were very straightforward, had a nice flow and fit the spooky manor theme nicely, there just wasn’t enough of them to comfortably fill out a 50 minute experience.
The story and immersion were where this one really fell down though. Having it set up in the same space as a bowling alley, the music from outside is extremely prevalent to a point where even listening to our GM’s instructions became a challenge. Could be our fault for booking on a busy Friday night but still, not ideal.
Despite all this we still had a good time and our GM Harry was awesome!
