The Time Machine

The Time Machine is a true gem of a game. It feels handcrafted and absolutely chock full of love in every aspect from set to puzzles and everything in between. Charlie our game host knows her game inside and out and knew exactly how to provide adequate hinting throughout without needing to be asked. The set is very much “low-budget”, using recognizable household items in inventive ways, but that is absolutely part of the game’s charm! It was an absolute joy to play this game.

What a wonderful experience. The game is full of fun and engaging puzzles but more than this you can feel the love of escape rooms in every aspect of the room and interaction with the amazing owner. We just loved it and can’t wait to try their other games. Thank you for such a positive experience.

I really enjoyed this one! As alluded to by other reviews, it has a very handmade feel but I found this to be really endearing. The puzzles were fun, the sets varied and the way in which you interact with the Time Machine builds throughout the game in a clever way. Our GM was fantastic, and was in character from the moment we arrived. I’d say this is best experienced by 2-4 players, our team of four found that the time literally flew by in the blink of an eye!

A cute compact room. Very homemade/low budget style but in a good way. Some fun puzzles. Not too hard. We only needed one hint and finished 38 minutes early, but it was a good experience.

some really unique mechanics and strong immersion resulted in a great 90 minute room, had a great time.

A fun and inventive game. The creators clearly didn't have a massive budget or a ton of space to work with, but they more than made up for with humor, inventiveness, and an obvious love for both sci-fi and escape rooms. And the in-character hosting was delightful.
