John Hayden's Room

Ive done worse escape rooms but I’ve also definitely done much better. Probably my least favorite of the 4 we did this time. Multiple game mechanics failed and we had to do half the room in the dark when we weren’t supposed to. The puzzles were reasonable and made sense and we escaped. The mechanics were good for the theme and it’s a reasonable room. There are just better rooms at 13th hour.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one! It’s described as the worst Hayden room since it’s more “mechanical,” but there were also tech elements and unique puzzles that made it enjoyable. P.S. There’s AC in this room!!! Whoop whoop 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Don’t sleep on this room! The oldest Hayden room but still had lots of fun. We did dungeon and this one and some in our group enjoyed this better than dungeon. Having done now all the Hayden rooms, this one definitely stands on its own. Don’t overlook it just because it’s the oldest room and lock heavy. It’s amazing to me how EVERY SINGLE HAYDEN ROOM is a gem. This one is certainly no exception.

One of the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to! Quality is fantastic, storyline is great, really gets your brain going, employees are top notch. I will ALWAYS recommend this place to anyone!!!

I am going to review of all of the rooms in this series together as we did them all back to back on the same day and I would undoubtedly make errors trying to differentiate between the individual rooms. Overall experience is a 10 out of 10! I loved them all and feel that this there is a satisfaction not only as a player but someone who can appreciate watching the company grow and expand. The first room in the series compared to the final room in the series (as of me writing) shows they have grown leaps and bounds not only in technology, but in puzzle design and storytelling. The sets are absolutely to die for... Pun definitely meant. Bloody, gory, and suitable spooky but never crossing the line into gross out horror. The puzzles are top tier and was really impressed that for a series of rooms they never felt into the trap of repeating puzzles. Every room's challenges were that room's and that room's alone. This is something you need to experience for yourself because mere words cannot do it justice! I do recommend breaking up the rooms over two days if possible. It will be more enjoyable to take it all of the hard work and stellar ambiance!!

John Hayden is not hard and very entertaining to play. Not creepy and the puzzle required to have keen eyes and team work.

A little easier than the other rooms that they have, nice one to start with.

I would say this was probably my least favorite of the “John Hayden” series rooms but that’s not saying a lot because I still thoroughly enjoyed it! I agree with the other reviewers that the set design was awesome but the puzzles felt a little lackluster and “lock heavy”. It’s still a great room and definitely would recommend everyone to do the whole series.

LOVED this room. I love that at 13th Hour almost everything ties back to the John Hayden story, and it was great to finally do his specific room. This room was well done and clearly thoughtful.
