Radioactive

The space is very cool, but the gameplay is to be desired. You can tell that they have changed some puzzles around over time, and it causes a few of them (like the word you get out of the dark room) to not really work anymore. The specs however, very very cool, tons of specs to spread out and move around.

Definitely a step in the more traditional escape room than the Diefenbunker’s main room, where this is set in more of the basement with a fictitious radioactive story. This does allow for some more interesting props/puzzles, but sort of loses a bit of charm/authenticity comparatively as you are interacting more with these props than the really cool bunker space. The basement still has a really cool vibe though so it was still a lot of fun!

☢️ Gameplay isn’t anything amazing but still a very cool escape room if only for the experience of it being in the Diefenbunker! 2nd biggest escape room in the world with the 1st being their other one, and apparently this is the slightly more difficult of the two. Great for a big group; my group of six probably dilly dallied a bit too much and were around 80% finished when we ran out the clock. Get there early and enjoy the museum, as your ticket includes free entry (make sure to check the hours!) 🤓 It’s a place frozen in time and truly incredible to walk through.

It's really cool to be inside an actual bunker! The technology isn't state-of-the-art, but it's still well-done enough to be fun!
