Honestly neat. Knowing the puzzles are linear and you'll never use the same items twice really was key, because there's plenty to get confused by. But know that not only items, but even the solution texts and clues were one time use, really made it doable. Posters and ciphers are only used for a single puzzle, not something you have to keep going back to later on. Environment was coold and I love a modern sensor system rather than a lock and key system. There's one puzzle that is half solving the clues, and have actually solving a puzzle like a modern mobile puzzle game. Only complaint is 2 design issues. Hard to describe them without spoiling, but our feedback was given to the staff as it should have an easy "fix".

Gameplay

Played like a traditional room, but themes and riddles were relatively unique and theme appropriate.

Atmosphere

Atmosphere was good. Brightly lit, but still relatively moody

Customer service

Staff was fantastic. Met 2 GM's, easy enjoyable and friendly.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

Different enough. Parables, stories, and one puzzle that was more about logical thinking than following a clue.

Story

Plot was definitely secondary. Vome to this room for the puzzles, not the story. Still, it was set up in a very themed way.

Difficulty

Hard

I would marking this as hard in some areas depending on how logical your brain is.

Ideal number of players

4

4 adults is probably best. 5-6 if children are involved.

Scary

Not scary

Except for the classic startled when you hear the loud click of a puzzle being solved.

Was anything broken?

No

Not broken, but as with most high-tech escape rooms, some of the sensors needed jiggling. Luckily our GM saw that we had the correct solution and triggered the next step.

They say pinky strength. Toward the end, you do need palm strength and tad.

A small step, so maybe not a wheelchair.

Overall, just kinda meh. It’s an older room, they were understaffed, and some puzzles needed muscle.

They were understaffed so our GM kept getting pulled away.

Was anything broken?

Yes

Several puzzles were swollen or damaged in some way so they needed prompting from the GM, which was tricky since she kept getting pulled away.

Really liked the room because there were no lock/key puzzles. There was a puzzle that gave us a hard time for a few minutes cause the instructions weren’t clear. But we asked the game master after debating it and got clarification. But I feel like if we didn’t ask she would not have offered the clarification unprompted

The coolest part about this room is that it’s completely keyless, this allows all of the puzzles to really feel like they’re a part of the atmosphere! Our GM was super into it which helps take the experience over the top. It is single track which means that the larger your group the less there is for everyone to do.

Well done, but not spectacular.

The Path is a fun room. It’s challenging and the design of the room was spectacular. We had some trouble with one of the puzzles because we had it correct but the magnetic lock didn’t trigger.
