Rating: 4/5 - Easily the best Speakeasy/Capone room I've played, it's puzzle heavy with strong theming throughout
Why this room is great:
➕Very high quality set with tons of details and it was decorated floor to ceiling.
➕Every prop and puzzle fit the theme
➕Multiple rooms to discover
➕Puzzles were fun and satisfying, with a good variety
➕Nice amount of tech mixed with mechanical locks.
➕Very puzzle heavy, so you'll be busy over the 90min, but nothing was too difficult or unfair, some layering to the puzzles.
➕Some non-linearity so you don't all have to work on the same puzzles
➕The audio, voice-over, and lighting effects added to the immersion
➕Lighting was sufficient, no flashlights needed
➕Good observation skills required
➕GM was friendly and helpful when needed
While not what I'd consider a top level TERPECA room since it doesn't do anything innovative or particularly unique, it is still a wonderful experience and worth driving a couple hours here to play this and Tut. I personally preferred Tut because I like the more fantastical set but I liked the puzzles more in Capone. I'd recommend a team of 2-4 enthusiasts.
