The Alchemist Lair

I really enjoyed the lighting and the layout of the room. It matched the storyline and atmosphere. The puzzles weren't too difficult, but your eyes may need time to adjust if you're not using the available lighting. A clever mechanism puzzle provided a reveal which the team collectively did their "oohs" and "aahs".

IT WAS AMAZING!! To start off with, the separation between the rooms was very unique. The room was very well designed with no flaws. The assortment of puzzles was also very good. The story was great, although it wasn’t as present as other escape rooms, it was still amazing and a good way to be immersed. Will definitely recommend this place!!

Room is immersive and fun. Enjoy the puzzles. Can be a little dark at times so just keep in mind. Great for all.

This was a really cool room. I felt like I was in a wooden ship & the puzzles were varied, on theme and satisfying. Unfortunately, we ran out of time in the end. I think the game master should have given us more time because the venue was empty and we were so close to completing it. I appreciated the second room with the potions.

Overall loved this game! However one puzzle required quite a bit of force all members of the party where scared of breaking it or hurting ourselves - after we wasted about 7mins, the game master had to come in and show us how to do it. Was a bit thrown off as you usually don’t need force to open things. During our introduction they explained 7 different types of locks we had to remember how to activate / unlock. This game is definitely worth your time and the staff were all lovely!

incredibly well designed! loved the atmosphere, puzzles had a great range for persons who think differently.

Very frustrating experience. We got stuck on one puzzle for over 20 minutes, and the GM didn’t give us any hints that provided information we didn’t already know. We also were told that letter locks would make a word, which turned out not to be true. When you have 2 experienced players who struggle that much with a puzzle, even though they understand exactly how it’s supposed to work, the problem is the puzzle, not the players.
