A Dinner Party to Die For The lights flicker as you wake on a blood-slicked floor. Amidst the hum of industrial freezers, the scent of rot, and the rhythm of sharpening blades, you realize the Northbridge Butcher wasn't a hoax after all. You must escape the meat locker and decipher his twisted diary to outwit this Cannibal Copycat - or risk becoming the main course at the worst dinner party of your life.

We found this room really immersive in a "real world" kind of way. Not scary/creepy but definitely felt like we were escaping from someone's real home. Great room but the last puzzle is really tricky!

Whilst I didn’t find this room particularly scary, it did and incredible job of building tension and keeping me on edge for the whole hour - which we needed. Some great juxtaposition in space and design just makes you feel unsettled, all whilst trying to keep your cool so your brain can function properly

Good concept, good puzzles and fairly linear movement throughout the rooms. However significant technical and mechnical faults throughout the room and not picked up by game master resulting in alot of confusion. Almost all non lock based puzzles had mechanic faults leading escapists into thinking they had solved the puzzle wrongly. Otherwise it's a good room.

Fantastic room, ambience is very creepy, gameplay is awesome. Big room, use of space is clever, could be a little scarier. The directional lighting is awesome, particularly to highlight puzzles or areas we should focus on.

Listed as a horror room, Cannibal unfortunately didn’t really deliver on the scare factor with most of it being set in a plain looking dining/living room. The room started off strong however, with a nice flow of puzzles and clever set but quickly descended into the same pitfall as some of the other experiences at Escape This. Fistfuls of information, clues and props handed to the player with no discernible order or sense of guidance. The clue system also needs a rework with 1-2 minutes of waving at the camera being rewarded with clues to puzzles we’d already solved, it’s far from player friendly and far from my favourite. 3.5/10 🔏🧩

The atmosphere and set design is fantastic- very immersive and detailed. Gameflow was a little illogical once you’re in the second room. We also missed finding a crucial item which I don’t think the GM realised- so when we were stuck and asking for hints they kept playing the same audio clue that didn’t make sense.

First parts would be a bit crampy and hard for a larger group- generally only one thing to work on, but the next part is very spacious and has lots of things so would be better with more. We had 2 and missed seeing a crucial item.
