The Enchanted Forest

I enjoyed this room so so much. First off, it's not even close to the first fairytale-magical kingdom room we've done, but it holds it own!! The set design was just ok, but I've experienced way too many beautiful rooms where the set design was the only noteworthy thing. Fortunately, Total Escape again comes through with some beautiful intuitive puzzles and some I had not seen before! Come for Yacht Heist (which I will say edges out Enchanted Forest only because crazy set and unique play) but stay for this one. If you have time, throw in the Tikal Temple & it's ok to skip the Jail Cell one.

This was my first full one-hour escape room, and got out with only a few seconds to spare. We did need several hints and found the room challenging. Puzzles went hand in hand with the cute theme. Game Master very friendly and helpful.

I was nervous for this room because of the mixed reviews and because my group was just me and my sister. We escaped and absolutely loved this room! Amazing atmosphere and some very unique puzzles. 10/10 👍

A down-to-the-wire two-person escape! This room is DEFINITELY designed for 4+ players, but what a joy it is, with puzzles that feel ripped from a children's storybook. Early and midgame emphasis on exploring and playing with the environment gives way to more mechanical late-game puzzles.

Sam was a charming, sweet, and excitable game master. His passion was evident and really made the experience more rewarding. The door apparently had a malfunction, but it did not hinder our game play. For a team of three, this room was surprisingly challenging. It was the first time I thought I might not escape. The last room was the most time consuming and challenging, but it was again super rewarding to figure out. The story simple, but cute. The room has a charming and complete homemade fairy aesthetic that lulls you into thinking it’s less difficult. It worked all areas of the brain - special awareness, visual puzzles, logic puzzles - I had a mental workout. The only critique I have is about the story being one note. Fun, challenging, and beautiful room !

Not my favorite room. The design and theme were good but the puzzles weren’t the best. I feel like they had a good idea but just failed the execution.

While there were some unique high tech puzzles in the room, the overall experience fell flat. A lot of the room felt repetitive or difficult for the sake of being difficult. I have not felt this frustrated with a room in a long time (and this comes from someone who has done over 100 rooms). Would not recommend this room for any group under 4 people (even if you are experience). If you are a group of 2, it’s nearly impossible to finish.

This was a solid room. There were a combination of more traditional style escape room games and more physical style escape games, with some more interesting logic and special puzzles thrown in. There were also a couple of puzzles that were just frustrating, making this my least favorite room at this business. That being said, I still really enjoyed this room! I think this business has some really great ideas and have enjoyed all of their rooms.
