Legend of Theradonia

Escape Hour has by far the most immersive rooms I’ve seen! stepping into this room was nothing short of magical, Kaitlin was wonderful!! very clear room objective that made for a satisfying ending :)

We played Legend of Theradonia as our last room at night before leaving the Gig Harbor area and we had Mia as our game master. She worked really hard to make sure that the experience felt magical! As for the room itself, I wanted to love it and not just like it but the props and the design were showing some signs of wear and tear. This ruined the immersion for me just a tiny bit. The puzzles, while they were plenty, did not make too much sense either. They shared the story but in the beginning but the puzzles didn’t really enhance the story and seemed out of place. You could also tell that some puzzles needed a lot of TLC because we had to apply more pressure to trigger the sensors. Overall, it was an average room and I am curious about other Escape Hour rooms to see if they bring more of the wow factor.

Shout-out to Mia for being our enthusiastic host with a charming room with a variety of things to do! There are so many things to look at with a lot of attention to detail but at the same time lots of red herrings. Some TLC may be needed for parts of this room, but everything fell into place when needed. Also love the local artist who designed all the cute merchandise. Will gladly grab more stickers once we've played the other rooms!

We had a fun time in this room! The theme is very cute and the decor is adorable. The flow is great and the puzzles are logical.

Wonderfully magical. We needed more nudges than we would like to get but we still had a great time in this clever room.

I had a blast in this room. Just layer upon layer. Really cool puzzles too!

We had a lot of fun! It was just me and my two teen kids (we’re pretty experienced with escape rooms), but we also brought along my sister and cousin, who were newer to them. The room was perfect for our mixed group — we were able to assign tasks to everyone, with the more experienced problem-solvers tackling the tougher challenges. While we could’ve solved it with just the three of us, it was much more enjoyable sharing the experience with our larger group.

Super fun! They did a great job of fitting a bunch of fun puzzles into a smaller space. Will be back!

The only thing about Escape Hour that I dislike is the fact the GMs will give you unprompted help, which is what kept this from being a 10/10.

Varied and interesting puzzles, a thrilling room for two players. Does require some crawling around, but easily managed if at least one person can do so. Adam was a great guide and kept our game moving at a good pace without any hand-holding. The atmosphere was incredibly well tuned, I felt the magical vibes through the lovely set design and sounds! Puzzles had great flow and set up in a way that really encourages trying things out!
