It is the Golden Age of Piracy. Spanish ships, laden with gold, sail across the Atlantic. From the safety of Tortuga, you have heard the tale of the notorious buccaneer Daniel Montbars. Rumor holds that five years ago he and his crew raided the Spanish galleon San Isador, and then disappeared into the Grenadines. The fate of Montbars, his men, and the vast treasure they captured has been a mystery since ... until today.

It HURTS me to give this a like ONLY because of the game masters. They didn’t give us their names so we don’t know who they were but we came in to play both rooms and the first game master was really monotone and then had an attitude at the end of it. The second game master was just as monotone and didn’t try to interact with us or make things fun AT ALL. It was so obvious that neither of them wanted to be there. Admittedly, the pirate room WAS very cool but just try not to let the GM bring your experience down! Tons of cool puzzles and AMAZING set design!

This room absolutely wins for set design. Not only were the puzzles great, there were some real "ah HA" moments, and the it was totally immersive in how it felt. Great room.

Super fun theme (a la Goonies), and extremely well executed. Great story, great puzzles. Lots of love went into this one. Props to the game designer.

It was a little confusing trying to find the building But the escape room was amazing! The themeing was incredible, and the story flowed well. You felt so immersed in the story. The game master was so friendly and I even got to talk to the owner about future plans

This was one of my most favorite rooms I’ve ever done. Very fun, lots of surprises!
This was the best room I’ve ever done, and I’ve done them around the world.
Everything was so well thought out and worked perfectly. It was by far the most one of the immersive games I’ve ever done. There are lots of surprises.
The game master stayed in character when giving us hints and helped us but didn’t ruin the puzzles. He always asked us if we wanted hints or not.
Yes! The surprise elements were unlike others I’ve done.
It wasn’t necessarily unlike other pirate game plot wise, but it was well thought out and there were so many kinds of puzzles.

You need to be able to reach things, so I’d have at least one adult

There were a lot of stairs. One puzzle relied on color.

One of my favorite escape rooms I've done! The set and prop design in this room had elements that I have truly never seen anywhere else. It was absolutely delightful to discover all the details. The puzzles were a bit riddle heavy for my taste and a few things seemed in need of updates to function better. But overall I have very few complaints about this room. It's so fun and special and I highly recommend it.

I wouldn't say anything was broken but one puzzle didn't fully work because parts of it had been worn down with use.
