28 escape rooms
Good room, maybe not the best for first timers, but I'd say its a solid intermediate or fanatic puzzle. Just me and my escape room partner, we got out without much difficulty. Lots of small, quick puzzles that are intertwined. Game is touted as fully non-linear and while the game as a whole has a final puzzle that doesn't matter what order you did things in, there are puzzles you need to complete to unlock further puzzles, so there is still some structure and linearity to it.
Gameplay
Great flow, puzzles made sense.
Atmosphere
No special effects (all practical), but overall everything fit the theme as far as design and immersion.
Customer service
Staff was great
Particularly interesting or different
No
It was still a great room, but nothing ground-breaking. The final puzzle requiring items from most earlier puzzles was interesting, but not particularly different or unique.
Story
Difficulty
Medium
Not great for small groups that are beginners, but 4-6 players that have a few rooms completed or a couple with some experience could find this room fun and doable.
Game tech
Mechanical
Magnetic locks opened during puzzle solves and traditional locks
Ideal number of players
4
I'd say 4-6.
Scary
Not scary
Minimum age
10
Nothing thematically disturbing for young children, some puzzles may be difficult for that age, but they could definitely help on most things.
Was anything broken?
No
Nothing broken, but a few puzzles needed to be jostled with for the correct solve to work.
Live actors
No
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
One element may be slightly difficult to see if wheelchair bound, but this room definitely could accommodate. Some areas may be tight. No audio clues. Specifically two color related puzzles (red, yellow, green, purple for one and red, blue, white, purple, and green for the other). Both color puzzles and the wheelchair element could be easily overcome with an extra note from the gamemaster.
