I wanted to like this room so much more than I did. It looked so inviting when the door opened to the room, but it just went downhill from there. We have a rather experienced team and there were many times throughout that we were frustrated with puzzles…not in the “we are being challenged in new ways” way, but rather the “we know the answers to these puzzles but the solutions aren’t working” way.
Had a great story and the room was decorated well, but we ended up finding alternative routes to the end because some of the “puzzles” were not set up well. We knew HOW to solve puzzles rather quickly, but getting things “just right” to work was incredibly frustrating.
Looked good
It was fine- definitely not personable.
Yes
One of the puzzles that we ended up solving another way: we asked for clarification at the end and our game master showed us how it was supposed to work…but it didn’t. We wasted a lot of time on that piece during our game play

This was a cool room. One of the puzzles was something we had never seen before so we ended up figuring out another way to solve the puzzle. After we had escaped, game master asked us why we didn’t solve the puzzle in the “right” way and it was because we had never seen it before. I should note that clues are given on a tv monitor and they give clues by typing them out so you do lose a bit a time waiting for them to give you a clue. I think the GM is also monitoring more than 1 game at a time so that can be frustrating.
This particular game master was just ok. I’ve had her in the past and she isn’t my favorite.

This isn’t the best game at this location, but there are still a lot of fun and creative puzzles in the room that are enjoyable. It definitely scratches the itch to do an escape room.
The puzzles were interesting and well-designed for the most part but didn’t flow together very well. It was difficult to determine the next steps for a fair number of them. If the flow had been better, it would’ve been much more enjoyable.
The set design was great and theme appropriate, as were all props and most effects.
The staff here is always great and very friendly. Getting hints from the GM breaks immersion slightly because the messages are just typed on a screen without any sort of dressing-up to fit the theme. It’s just basically conversational typing.

Pretty standard train escape room.
The story was fine. Nothing remarkable about it, but enough to keep the story moving. Felt a little lacking but scratched the itch to do an escape room.
Easy
Mechanical
There were some really neat locks, etc. in this room with some tech incorporated as well, but it leaned more mechanical than high tech.
