I actually played this room twice. The first time I didn’t escape and came back a few months later with a different group to try again. It is very immersive and I felt like I was in jail haha. The puzzles are unique, and there is no jump scares. I won’t spoil but the ending is unique and I loved it!

There aren’t any jump scares in this room. The design of the room is naturally creepy hence the title of the room.

Nothing is going to jump out and scare you but the room has creepy vibes.

Yes
One of the devices was broken and even though the GM checked before we played and it was working, the device wasn’t working by the time we got it. The GM didn’t fix it for us and we told the GM through the camera that it was broken. We ended up being able to use the broken device but the GM could have told us that we could have used the device even if it was broken.
