Ghost Hotel

What a great escape room! We had so much fun that we did 2 tonight! I can't wait to visit Utah again so we can do the other rooms. Very friendly staff as well!

Ghost Hotel was good spooky fun! Reminiscent of Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. You’re not necessarily escaping here, instead finding some lost items from previous hotel patrons. Multilinear, and a larger set that opens up relatively early, so a larger group could still have fun. Varied puzzles, fun effects. Immersive, spooky fun.

A solid hotel game where you need to acquire artifacts and return them to their rightful locations. The set is the strongest part of the game, with a few puzzles being what you would expect in a Gen 1 game. That being said, there are some nice uses of video and tech within the room, and this, along with the set, is what makes the room a standout in the SLC area. The only downside comes with one of the physical puzzles. It requires teamwork and you are told that this is the hardest of the artifacts to acquire. Our team bottlenecked for almost 8 minutes on this one, and while you're doing it, there isn't anything else for the rest of the team to do if the have found the other artifacts. That complaint not withstanding, we had a great time playing this game and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the Salt Lake area.

Great room, pretty easy if you haven’t done a lot of rooms before then this is a great starting point. Great Room Escape does a fantastic job and is very high quality in every aspect. Would highly recommend.

This was a wonderful experience! We’ve done over 150 rooms-definitely a top ten for overall quality. I LOVE when I enter a new part of the room and I can turn to one of my team mates and say “This is soooo cool!” It is fashioned after the idea of the tower of terror from Disney. It has such a well done story line. Great tech! Fun puzzles. Atmosphere is top of the line! We had a small problem with tech- and the game master fixed it. It messed up our time, but wasn’t a big deal. Another plus was that this company allowed us to bring a small toddler for no charge that sat on his iPad behaving the entire time. Highly recommend trying this room!

Of the 13 escape rooms I've done so far, this is one of my top 2 favorites! I'm a co-owner at Secret Combinations, and I'd like to give this place a crown. Set design is one of my favorite parts of an escape room, and this one knocked it out of the park! The puzzles were also fun and enjoyable. This is my first from Great Room Escape, and I'll definitely be back for more. Very well worth the hour and a half drive! :D If you come here and you like it, please leave these guys a nice review on Google. Google reviews do make a difference for us escape room companies, and I think these guys deserve better than what they've got. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Really well done room and set design. There were enough puzzles for 6 of us to do and not feel like you were standing around. Had really good gameplay and immersion. My only gripe is that no one in the group knew we completed the room until the game master walked in and said congratulations.

We really enjoyed this room. Lots of different puzzles to solve. Everything worked. Minro spooky but not scary.
