You’re about to inherit a vast historic estate—if you can clear your name of murder. You are Robert Montgomerie, the only remaining direct heir to the Kildermorie Estate and the Montgomerie family fortune. You’re attending a family gathering hosted by your Grandfather, Hugh ‘Monty’ Montgomerie, the 9th Earl of Kildermorie, to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium. As the guests raise a toast, a scream fills the air…and your Grandfather is found dead in the library. It looks like MURDER, and as the direct heir, all fingers are now pointed at you! Will hidden clues reveal distant family secrets? With the police on their way, can you gather enough evidence and piece the story together to provide your innocence? Awful experience. First, the staff was lazy, has no enthusiasm - but I understand that not everyday is full of excitement so I let that slide. I specifically did NOT sign up for the "kids version" but upon entering the room I was presented with the kids "helper sheet". No worries though I can just ignore it right? Wrong. They changed the room to adjust to the kids version which led me down a bunch of dead ends. At one point we received a puzzle that was unsolvable because they had adjusted the room, so I spent a good 30 minutes on something that wasn't even going to get me anywhere because they made it quite literally impossible to solve. Items were broken, the room was old, it was EXTREMELY hot. I love escape rooms and it takes a lot for me to not like one so this was a huge disappointment. PLEASE do NOT book this room.

Important main pieces of puzzles were broken/not functioning properly, couldn’t tell what clues we had and hadn’t used in the room. Most puzzles didn’t make sense even when the host tried to explain them they seemed like a reach.

Several large puzzles were broken and did affect gameplay- threw us off… we were unsure if a puzzle had been solved when we did not use a clue to solve it and it automatically opened.
