Baker Street Mystery

baker street mystery was a fun escape room that my partner and i enjoyed. we have done quite a few escape rooms in the USA, and this felt pretty unique with some of the puzzles, using things i have never seen in the states. i absolutely adored our game master, teddy. i wish i was in dublin longer so i could try out the scary escape rooms at this location, i heard other parties screaming and having a blast and it made me want to go back for more! the puzzles were more physical and didn’t utilize technology, but the hardest puzzle involved a map and it took a bit of hints to get past that one. i loved the way hints were distributed, it was so cute ! loved loved loved teddy!

The room theming was nice for the story, though the story felt a bit disjointed. We've done other Sherlock rooms and this one didn't quite hit the mark in the same way. Despite that the puzzles were still fun and presented a decent challenge. I will say that the room is overpriced. At 45 per person (2 person team), I was expecting more.

6/10 The definition of a basic escape room. Do some puzzles, input the answer into a lock, and move on to the next puzzle. No fancy tech or wow inducing moments. Just straight to the point, bare bones, puzzles and locks.
