The Original Adventure

This entire location does old school style escape rooms (more linear, more hunting for clues and physical manipulatives rather than the high tech trends you see) but is done incredibly well. You can tell a lot of thought went into transforming the (large!) spaces and taking advantage of the building they are in to inform the theming and puzzles. This was Canada’s first 60 minute escape room and it feels it (that sounds like a read, and in a way it is a bit). It’s charming in its simplicity, and avoidance of hitting you over the head with “this is a puzzle this is a puzzle” that a lot of escape rooms have gravitated towards. But with that the rooms can feel a little sparse and older. For us this room and their sequel felt like their easiest rooms for sure. I think if you go in knowing this is an old school escape y have a good time!

Officially checking Canada’s FIRST escape room off of the list! I feel that alone makes this room and location a great place for beginners and enthusiasts (especially us Canadians, eh?)! We had a fabulous GM, making our game experience even better. We will be back to finish the other rooms here and at the Niagara location!

Cannot believe I didnt play Canada's first 60 minute escape game sooner! Very creative and challenging, but had so much fun. Ended up playing another game in the same day and my host gave me 10% off!!!!

'The Original Adventure' at Adventure Rooms Canada in Kitchener was an amazing experience! The puzzles were unique, clever and a ton of fun and had great "aha!" moments! :D The staff was incredible and made the experience even better with their great service and hosting. Would highly recommend visiting Adventure Rooms Canada :)

Adventure Rooms Kitchener quickly becoming one of our favourite locations. Rooms are somewhat odd with seemingly random puzzles thrown in but they somehow manage to create a great experience.
