The Thompsons

Overall this location’s rooms are solid, especially for the price point. A mixture of tech and locks. The location is really successful at very thematic spaces, and multi-room escapes where each room within the escape is quite unique/fun to open up and poke around in. I think their sister location close by (Keymasters) is more ambitious in both puzzles and set design, but again no complaints with these rooms. This Simpsons room had its theming on point, definitely looked like you were transported into the Simpsons world. There is another Simpsons room in Mississauga so I liked that this one was (significantly) bigger and multiple sets. The puzzles were at a medium difficulty and involved a lot of Simpsons references which got a smile out of me many times. Some props could be replaced but that comes with age. Great job with this one!

Such a vibe! Felt like we were actually in the show.

💥🍩 A fun cartoon set! Linear gameplay so a smaller group is definitely better. I’m going to blame it on being my second escape room of the day but it did feel like a stretch at times making some of the connections between puzzles. However, my team of three did manage to escape with twenty seconds to spare and a couple hints used.

Nice theme. a few slightly worn out puzzles but overall a nice experience :)

The set design is colorful and cute. There are many multi-step puzzles, which made it challenging and sometimes hard to keep track. It’s quite difficult for a group of two. We didn’t make it to the end but still had fun.

Who hasn't wanted to be sucked into cartoon land??! The Thompsons is an inventive and immersive room done by owners who obviously have a passion for room design! Lots of puzzles to keep you busy with some unique challenges and surprises! I Had a blast doing this room!

Probably my favourite escape room thus far. The room itself was great, the puzzles were even better and the wow moments when mechanisms triggered was fantastic. Highly recommend this room for escape room enthusiasts and fans of The Simpsons!

All rooms at Next Level are great, played them all in one day, they are some of the best games anywhere. The Thompsons was my favorite.

9/10. Extremely immersive. A truly impressive love letter to the simpsons, many intricate references/Easter eggs to the Simpson’s. Great room which used a lot of other types of puzzles rather than just lock and key. Tons of technology. Kept to the storyline quite well. Multi-room, which is always fun. Good example of a linear room, usually pretty clear which clue you should be working on. Clever little puzzles which you think you solved at first but needed an extra step to solve. One of my favourite non-scary rooms (have a soft spot for scary rooms).
