Permanently Closed - The time has come, one final hour to take down one of the biggest Mafia family… The Corleone Mafia family once was the most powerful and proud-hearted family in the entire Big Apple. But flying high – falling low. The dark times have come to the Corleone family, too many suspicions, too many errors which have attracted the attention of the authorities. The police are gathering as much evidence as possible but it is not enough. Years of spy work done by you are finally going to pay off, you’ve realised getting your hands on the ledger would be the final blow to stop the Corleone family and all their shady businesses. But it’s not that simple, the ledger is well hidden in the Mafia’s home… A dangerous mission in the very dangerous territory must be done as quickly and quietly as possible…

The whole idea of a 'mafia' themed room has always been a bit bizarre to me as I believe the concept would be difficult to design around, and unfortunately this experience fits that description. A pretty bland garden room leading into a nondescript office wasn't exactly as vibrant and exciting as escape rooms should aim to be. The saving grace however was the puzzles which (despite being marketed as their most difficult room) were easy, entertaining, and linked on to one another without any confusion. I recommend playing with a maximum of 3 players to get the most bang for your buck. 5.5/10 🔏🧩

Billed as their 6/6 difficulty rating room this was definitely not as challenging as we expected. We brought a larger group than normal and ended up getting out in just over 30 minutes which was rather disappointing for the price. The puzzles were rather straightforward with a few that didn't exactly match the Mafia theme.
