Twisted Trials

My brother and I have now done four escape rooms at Lost Locks Gold Coast, and Twisted Trials was another fantastic experience! Even after doing several of their rooms, this one still managed to surprise us with puzzles and interactive elements we'd never seen before. There were so many different styles of locks and combinations that kept us thinking the whole time, and the storyline was engaging from start to finish. Ryan was our game master again, and he's always so friendly and welcoming. After the game, we had a great chat with him about other escape rooms around the Gold Coast and Brisbane, which we really appreciated. You can tell he's genuinely passionate about escape rooms, and that enthusiasm makes the whole experience even better. Without giving anything away, this room had a few moments that genuinely caught us off guard and made it stand out from other escape rooms we've done. Lost Locks continues to impress us every time we visit, and every room has felt unique in its own way. We can't wait to come back and complete the rest of the rooms!

Twisted Trials is a fantastic fairly challenging room with appropriately gross, well executed theming. It has a great mix of puzzles and challenges that were satisfying to solve and we enjoyed our many "a-ha!" moments. When we arrived at Lost Locks we were greeted very warmly by Ryan who was lovely to chat to. We felt very generously taken care of by our game master Sam, her intros really drew you in and set the scene and her enthusiastic debriefs were much appreciated. This business has really wonderful top tier games and we can't wait to come back and try some more. The atmosphere is fun, the vibes are excellent and we're very excited to see what games they release in the future.

Had a lot of fun with this, good interesting puzzles. Not scary, but unsettling. Could be quite inaccessible for people with mobility issues

‘Twisted Trials’ was our first escape room at Lost Locks! A few unique puzzles give this classic “kidnapped by a serial killer” trope a fresh spin. Almost every puzzle is mechanical. On the design side of things, the room delivers great props and a truly gruesome sequence of rooms.
