The Great Lisbon Earthquake by Escape Hunter was a simple and straightforward escape room experience. As a franchise game, it’s best to set expectations accordingly. We played as a group of three—this was my 15th escape room, while the others were relatively new to the hobby. The room itself featured a basic design where the theme didn’t fully translate into the environment. The puzzles were functional but leaned toward the old-school, generic, and simple side. Since the room is now closed, it’s no longer an option, but if it were still around, it would have been best suited for beginners or as a backup choice when nothing else was available.
