133 escape rooms
Did this on Quantum of the Seas. As others have mentioned, there is no theming. Just a couple of boxes and number locks. There seems to be no way to book as a private experience, there was one other person booked on our time slot despite us booking up all 6 slots ahead of time. All of the puzzles were as you would expect, paper and math puzzles that you can easily do in a small room. I would not recommend this to someone as their first escape room experience.

7 escape rooms
If you go into this with tempered expectation it is a fun activity. Know in advance that there is no theme, story, or art design. At least not when I did this on Quantum of the Seas in 2026. It is pure puzzle solving. And the puzzles, for those of us who do a lot of escape rooms, aren’t particularly innovative or creative. BUT, and this is a big but, my wife and one daughter who don’t like escape rooms enjoyed this. Royal Caribbean is good at creating family activities. So if you have family who aren’t super into escape rooms this could be a good activity. But if your group is really into escape rooms, you probably won’t like it. There was a small charge for doing this but less than I pay for an escape room normally.

I wasn’t expecting much as it’s not a dedicated escape room, but we had lots of fun solving interesting puzzles at least, for what it was it was a fun experience, but don’t expect a intriguing story line, or decorated room.
Some of the puzzles were novel and fun, basically just cracking interesting puzzles that vary in difficulty.
No props since it’s done in a multi-function room

Honestly, for a 10/15 dollar room it wasn't bad, but since Morty is aimed at hobbyists I am putting a thumbs down. But do consider if you're traveling with your family and want to get them into puzzles! Shared room with I think up to twelve people. There was a variety of puzzles at once but I think the number of people is too high especially for a group you do with strangers. I noticed some other guests not interacting as much without encouragement. One of the props was broken, and another prop was worn so you could see the answers. Most of the puzzles were table type puzzles. I might have pit a thumbs up if it was free but Royal charges now.
Staff was friendly but pretty much didn't involve herself at all because she saw some of us were experienced. However, we did get stuck on one part for a while and I would have appreciated if she had stepped in without me having to find her behind a wall... On her phone 😂 😂

I had low expectations going in, but it exceeded my expectations. A collection of puzzles that range in difficulty culminating in the final puzzle. We did it with a group of 6 member, this was a good amount of people for the space and puzzles.

Overall acceptable for a free cruise ship room. It had no themeing and was a room with just 4 tables with boxes/puzzles on top. The puzzles themselves were creative and used many symbols. The guide was clearly over it and was unable to explain the final puzzle solution.

As mentioned in other reviews this room is not decorated as an escape room, but holy cow did Royal make up for it with the puzzles. My husband and I have done over 50 rooms and consider ourselves experts but we couldn’t have done it ourselves without some guidance from the game master. I’m a decor snob when it comes to escape rooms; I really like the immersion but I appreciate that Royal didn’t half ass it and just went hard on the puzzles. We hate doing rooms with other people but really enjoyed this experience with 8+ first time people because there were enough puzzles for everyone to work on so that no one was just standing around. Puzzles are multilayered and require imagination and guidance from the game master but Fritz did an amazing job helping just enough to set the scene for us but not too much. I’m very impressed. A must do for any ability level. You won’t miss the “room” experience because the puzzles are all so unique and will challenge even experts.

Played on Quantum of the Seas. Free room with up to 12 players. It’s done in the teen club so it isn’t a typical escape room. The puzzles were all very unique and challenging. It was a pleasant surprise for a free room. I expect them to put in a new room for 2025.
209 escape rooms
Played this aboard Anthem of the seas. Fun little room good for the 10-12 players it asks for as puzzles are not linear. Obviously a pop up room on a cruise ship isn't going to be the highest level of design but we had fun and were glad to have it as an activity option!

Room was puzzles put in a teens hangout room with bad puzzles that made no sense and when questioned how we were supposed to get that, the host responded saying that he doesn’t know and that we were supposed to guess. also the host reset whilst we were still playing lol. if your on the ship and it’s free give it a go but don’t go out of your way to play
