This room starts separated. And communication is scarce to start. You really have to work this game with people who communicate well with each other. There are a total of 2 rooms 3 if you count the separate start rooms. One room is very simple and quick and then you can’t move on without the help of the other rooms. The other room definitely has a lot more to start. It was nice to try this room.

We did not do as well but at no fault of the game. Really have to make sure you are bringing your "A" game after spending the night before exploring the city. the game was fun and I recommend checking it out We knocked out a lot of the games over the course of two visits. The location is clean and in the heart of downtown New Orleans so very easy to get to if you need a break from sightseeing to do something indoors. The staff were friendly and had lots of great recommendations of things to do in the city.

Split start is fun. The puzzles were ok for the most part but it was easy, we broke the record in about 25 minutes. The floorboards are coming up in the main room and the room could use maintenance (I know it's an older location though). Watch out when you play, there's a chance you might get hit by things releasing suddenly lol kind of scary. Was also given a hint without asking.

Team was split and each side had Walkie talkie to help each other before meeting in a center room. One of the puzzles was not quite clear and is confusing if you don’t have an opinion on woman verse men and what they do in real life. Very linear once both team combine.

This room was okay but nothing special. We had a game master who kept giving us clues we didn’t ask for and that was a bit annoying. We were a small team of three and enjoy struggling through puzzles as opposed to being told what to do. Overall not a bad experience but not one I highly recommend.

This room is really good- I was pretty bummed out because due to weather we arrived late, really late. So we only had about 40 minutes and there were a few beginners in our group so no way we were going to get out in that time. A lot of details and a great theme, I would’ve loved to finish this room- and it was my 4th room at Clue Carre, this is a great business.

This was a split start game with a strange twist on the idea. The communication between teams at the start was one-way. I could tell my partner things but she couldn’t respond in any way. So I wound up telling her everything I saw or was doing, since who knows what could have been relevant to her. This caused some agitation until we got out of the start rooms. Once one of us got out of the start room we were allowed to let the other team out of there in a way that was very anti-climactic. I appreciate the unusualness of what they were trying but feel like I would have removed this feature in playtesting. Once in the main room be careful of falling objects. Both of us got whacked. The main room was more or less a standard heist room, though there was a nice cinematic twist at the end with the final puzzle. It’s worth giving this game a try for the novelty of the start, if novelty is enough of a draw for you. Take a small team. No more that 4. The start rooms are tiny.
