Escape Room Live's Alexandria location is just a wonderful place to go as every room is quite enjoyable. At this point, Sherlock study escape rooms are as common as pirates and zombies, but this still was a standout. The sets are extensive and beautifully done. There are not a ton of 1st gen of combo locks. The room has a nice flow and we were watched over nicely by our gamemaster. I'd still favor the Apothecary > Poe > this Sherlock room but certainly add this one to the list if you can do multiples.

I really liked this room. There were some clever puzzles and all of the reveals in the room were very well maintained and hidden. My husband and I played two rooms during our visit and Max and Eden were such great game masters. We met a few other people before and after our game and they were also so nice and friendly. This room is a little smaller so group sizes between 2-4 are perfect for this game.

Shout out to our gms Eli and Vanessa! Great staff add so much to the overall experience. This was a solid room. Not the most compelling storyline or atmospheric space, but we enjoyed the puzzles and had a good experience. However if you can only do 1 or 2 of the rooms at this location, skip Sherlock and do the Poe and Wizard rooms instead. This location used to have some rooms that were only 45 minutes, but we were told they added some puzzles and now they're all 60 minutes.

It was fine. Not bad, not great. Their Poe room is more richly themed, and the Wizard room set is really good and atmospheric.

In my opinion 2-3 players is the sweet spot for most rooms, including this one. My spouse and I successfully completed this room as a duo at a very comfortable / relaxed pace. There are parallel puzzles and there's plenty of physical space so a group of 4-5 would probably be ok, but you get to do more when you're in a smaller group.

There's no objectionable or scary content, but I think kids would be bored by this one. Also some of the puzzle content is up at grown up height and wouldn't physically be accessible to children.

Visual impairment would make several of the puzzles difficult. Color blindness might impact one puzzle. No audio puzzles. Players in a wheelchair might not be able to see all of the components for all of the puzzles, but could take on the complementary solving role. The room itself has ample space for a wheelchair to move around.

We really enjoyed this game! Weβre big fans of TEG; this acquired series is unique and fun. The theme was engaging and the difficulty was perfect for those looking for a good time.

This room was a ton of fun! It was one of the more difficult rooms we have done, part of which can be attributed to the fact that we only had 45 min vs the usual 60min. I think if we had the extra time we definitely would have gotten out because we were like one step away from the end! The room was fun, and really well designed and definitely kept us engaged the ENTIRE time. There was no standing around just wondering what to do next, we kind of had multiple puzzles going at once which made the time go by soooo fast. Overall this is the best Sherlock themed room Iβve done, and I would recommend it to anyone whoβs done escape rooms before and is looking for something a little more challenging.
