The pharmaceuticals are searching for people to test their new drug and its side effects! If you are not claustrophobic, then you are the right one for this!

The most unique escape room we've ever done. Loved the challenges and physicality of this game. Definitely a great communication builder for couples! Game master (David) was excellent. Definitely different than your typical escape room, we loved it and were so close to escaping!!

This room doesn’t compare to what Exit Strategy typically offers. While most of their rooms are surprising, immersive, impressive, and entertaining, Side Effects isn’t any of those things. The concept is great but the execution is disconnected, boring, and frustrating. Definitely visit Exit Strategy but skip this room.
I found the flow of this room to be underwhelming at best. The concept was great but the execution fell short because the puzzles felt disconnected.
The set design was suitable-and a clever concept for a small space- but I can’t say that anything was super impressive.
The game masters were super friendly and helpful. There was also a dog in the lobby which made our visit even more enjoyable.

The concept: yes, the follow through: no.

Spooky
Not scary at all IF you aren’t claustrophobic. If you are claustrophobic, this room would be horrifying.

The game masters were kind of in character, they just weren’t physically in the room with us.
Somewhat
Not super physically active BUT physically different than other rooms. Must be able to comfortably fit in to small spaces.
Not super accessible. Some elements require color and being able to see well. This is worsened by the fact that you are separated and cannot help each other easily.

Good idea, but the puzzles were mainly just challenging due to physical restrictions. Staff was okay but slightly rude. Most puzzles felt pointless, no connection, and the only thing that kept the story was various audio based time updates. Wasn’t TERRIBLE, but wasn’t anything I’d recommend.

It’s an interesting concept with just having 2 people in there. It’s definitely worth checking out, and it’s not as easy as it may seem

The concept for this room is cool but doesn’t really fit the theme very well. Puzzles were ok. If you are claustrophobic do not do this one.

This is a private experience for your group
Game play: Testers will start the experiment in separate pods before being reunited. Communication and teamwork will be crucial! Customers with claustrophobia or sensitivity to small spaces should choose a different experience. What to wear: Socks and leg-covering clothing are mandatory. If testers are wearing skirts or dresses or are not wearing socks, they will be required to purchase disposable pants and/or socks.
