Violence, drug use, drug trafficking, attempted breakouts and multiple murders, no day is the same in Cruz prisons. The change in policy has also not yielded any results. These are the reasons why the Cruz prisons have been closed for a long time. This has not done the prisons much good. A dilapidated and abandoned place that was once home to many inmates. Unfortunately, the crime rates are extremely high and there are no more places available in the current prisons. As a result, one location of the Cruz prisons has reopened. A special place has been created for a number of detainees in the whimsical Cruz la Muerte. After a number of updates in policy, security and systems, they are up and running again, but it is not very pleasant at all. Welcome to Cruz la Muerte. Where they have tried to erase the past, where isolation is the new normal and where escape is impossible. So survival is all that matters. Here you are!

Set and puzzles were good. Overall a fine game that didn't strike me as super memorable, but I've also never heard of the source material. I suspect that if I had, it would have resonated a lot more.

If you’ve seen the series, you’ll absolutely love this! The room is full of clever details and subtle references to the series. The puzzles are well thought-out and varied, with a great game flow. There’s only a short acting scene during the experience; otherwise, the game runs entirely without actors. Overall, a fantastic experience for both fans and escape room enthusiasts alike!

I have done several prison rooms, and I can honestly say this is the best one I have done. They beautifully integrate a sense of adventure into the story, and there are some cool ways they integrate the building into the room. You don't need to have seen the TV program on which the room is based, but I love how they explained some of the easter eggs to us after playing. I kind of want to return to play it again!

Probably our most favorite prison themed room we have ever played. Such a great use of space and location. Our gamemaster was excellent and the puzzles were a lot of fun.

The theme was great and most of it really felt good. We struggled a bit in the end and I think it's because the puzzle is not super clear. It's also not on the same level as Molly, Jason, The Dome but it is still fun to play and we had a great time. 8/10

Our second stop on our Escape Tour Netherlands 2024: Here I Am from Escape Room Katwijk. Despite being the oldest of the three rooms at this location, it doesn’t show its age at all. The atmosphere was fantastic, the puzzle flow was smooth, and the overall design was impressive. A well-crafted experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for all players!

“Here I am” is definitely my favorite prison themed escape room that utilizes the prison environment to its fullest potential. The prison is filled with references to the “Locked Up” prison show which added to the environment if you know that show. Very fun room, definitely in the top 5!

A supercool must-play room! Didn’t know the series but that doesn’t matter. Passionate owner who talked for a long time with us after playing and gave a little backstage tour. Great puzzles, story and theming.
