On a trip to Cairo, Egypt, you and your party find yourselves in a market, looking for a cool souvenir to take back home. An old man offers you an authentic Pharaoh’s Ankh Staff fragment, which outshines the other attractions at the market by far, so you pick it up. But soon after, your luck sours; You can’t get a taxi back to your hotel, so you have to walk. Your hotel room floods, destroying all of your luggage, and at every chance, you stub your toe. This string of bad luck proves to be a curse when you sleep, dreams haunted by a tomb deep in the desert, where the remaining pieces of the staff call out for their lost fragment. Fearing the worst, you head to the tomb, but soon after entering the Pharaoh’s Labyrinth, you become split up from half of your party, hopelessly lost. Can you coordinate with your separated friends through the walls of the tomb and reassemble the staff before its too late?

This was a really fun game with a really neat aspect that I love when rooms have. This one required a lot of communication back and forth and I think it would be really hard/chaotic with more then 2-4 people. The puzzles were well integrated, and they did this theme very well, although it is overdone. The puzzles flowed nicely and were relatively linear in an order that made sense, while still being satisfying to solve. I can see this room being really challanging communication wise. The staff were great and always care a lot about your experience and give you a great story going into the room with a unique twist. They also gave us a little bonus after our game with some extra time, and we will definitely be back to check out any new rooms coming soon!

We had so much fun in this room! For the majority of the room you are separated, so bring friends that you communicate well with :) We did this with just 2 players and it worked perfectly for us, but honestly any more than 3-4 and it might start to get a bit chaotic. I loved the flow of this room despite the separation; they integrated this feature very well and it was rare that we were stumped on what to work on next. They also had some pretty cool puzzles that were clever and fun to complete! As always, the staff here were so nice to us and gave us some bonus info for being done early. Even though Egypt is a bit of an overdone theme, the way they tell the story of how you got into the room is always full of energy and fun and really makes the experience that much better. Definitely recommend!

Though this theme is overdone, this is one of the decent ones. Just to prepare, know that you will get sand in your shoes. I really liked how the group was separated, as it made the room more difficult. Other than that, most of the puzzles were pretty easy. I think that overall, this is a mediocre room.

The room was themed pretty well, though some elements were of lower quality such as the wall coverings. The room was pitch black minus your flashlight and the element of being separated relying on communication was a nice touch of difficulty. There were some issues with a lock not opening first try and a button requiring multiple pushes to work, wasting some time having to review clues only to get the same answer which did waste some time, but the staff were apologetic and immediately swapped the lock for the next guests and gave a 20% coupon off our next visit.
