ATTENTION. THIS IS NOT A TEST. This is your direct-support Radio Operator reporting the formation of a severe Arctic Storm off the coast of Siberia. All stationed personnel should immediately seek shelter in a class four base or higher. Initiating safety-protocol 118. Commencing auto-lockdown. IMPACT IMMINENT. DISPATCH TERMINATED. The station’s storm vehicle is built to withstand forces of 120 mph winds and is your sole chance at surviving a storm of this caliber. Teeny-weeny problem! – the vehicle has sat dormant for nearly a decade. With no fuel, no battery life, and no access to board without necessary overrides, all recourse of survival is few and fleeting… Will you make it to safety before THE FINAL MELTDOWN?

This game was EPIC! Other reviews hit the nail on the head, this game was physical, intense, well themed and FUN!! The puzzles were creative, the technology was cool, and the room was well-AC’d in the Florida heat. Our group of 2 escaped with around 27 minutes left.Seriously, if you’re in the area - come play! PS: shoutout to our GM, Rebeca!

Let me tell you. This place keeps surprising me. Now this is the most physically demanding escape room I’ve been in. With stairs, declines, etc! Top 3 in my lifetime for sure. Definitely a must for escape rooms aficionados!

WHAT A GAME! It's one thing to have a game IN an Arctic research station, but it's next-level to do one where you have to leave the station to go "outside" into the polar depths! Throw in some dark humor & a fantastic in-person actor & this game is a must-do!
Wonderful puzzles, everything themed to the game. So much fun! Beautiful flow!
I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say that regardless of where this game took us, the sets were awesome! How was all this inside an enclosed space?
Our GM, Rebeca, was also the in-room actor in our games and she was the best!

A rogue AI was trying to thwart us from escaping an Arctic storm. You better believe it was interesting!

This room would've been amazing without an actor. With the actor made it PERFECT. Rebeca was hilarious as the inept intern helping to set the tone & just randomly showing up at all the right moments!

So they had one really physically demanding thing. (They do warn you about it before the game starts.) I'm not sure how someone who is older, younger or bigger would be able to handle it.
There's a few color related clues. And someone in a wheelchair is NOT going to be able to do this room.

This was one of my favorite rooms I have ever played! Our group of four loved absolutely every aspect of the room. We are always a fan of how Escape Ventures involves the GM into the story. It adds so much to the overall experience. If you’re in Orlando, this is a MUST play.

Great set, theming across multiple rooms. Escape Ventures is a top notch location. Group had a great time and the gameaster was very engaged throughout the adventure. This is a must hit location for any in the area.
overall very good. No crazy new puzzles / challenges though some good twists. Good use of theming on several of the puzzles.
can't stress enough how set / theming was on point and very well done.
Great staff and interactive in gameplay

This was the very first room that the EscapeJunkies have done at Escape Ventures, and it did not disappoint at all. The set design is one of the most thematically interesting rooms we’ve completed, and the puzzles are very linear. We never once felt stumped or lost from start to finish. The very beginning of the room starts off cramped, however it opened up to a much larger room midway through the experience. We escaped with 4 people with over 30 minutes remaining which, in a 90-minute experience, was a bit too easy for us. However, for guests who are newer to escape rooms, or just looking for a truly remarkable thematic experience, this room is a must-do in Orlando. Scoring: Jacob (8) Lainey (9.5) Ginger (9) Harold (6) Overall Score: 8 out of 10
The room was very cohesive. It encourages you to continue going forward and it sends you on a very linear path. The puzzles were very fun, interactive, and very thematically appropriate.
The set design was very impressive. Each room, from start to finish, felt that it had a purpose to the overall experience, and there were enough rooms and enough atmosphere to create a very vivid, lively and realistic adventure.
Our GM (Shoutout to Taylor) did an outstanding job!
Yes
While most rooms tend to lean towards pirates and spies, this room takes a very unique approach towards the arctic, which is something we’ve never really done.
The plot made sense to the room, and we never found ourselves becoming annoyed with the plot. However, we didn’t really feel drawn to the plot at any point in the room. The plot wasn’t great, or bad. Just good.
Medium
The room’s puzzles may be a touch too simple for experienced escape artists, however they are very fun and thematically appropriate, and newcomers will find themselves having a balanced level of difficulty.
Mechanical
There was one point in the room that had very interesting tech (to avoid spoilers). However, the majority of the room is mechanically-heavy, but it does it in a way that it maintains its level of cohesive set design while making it challenging.
4
Towards the middle of the escape room, it opens up into a larger room. However, at the start, the rooms are quite small and cramped. We did it with 4 and two of us are over 6’ tall. Thus, the room felt very cramped. If there were any more, the rooms may have been cramped.
Not scary
Nothing scary in this room; just the impending dread of the arctic storm.
12
The room’s puzzles require thinking, but they aren’t incredibly difficult. Newcomers and younger escape artists will struggle just enough to be challenging, but not so much to where the experience isn’t enjoyable.
No
The set was very well executed, with all working pieces.
Yes
Our live actor had very minimal interaction, but it was a very nice touch.
Very
Crawling, climbing and sliding are required to get through this room.
Individuals with mobility issues may struggle with this room due to a severe decline midway through the room, however I’m sure there are workarounds through a side door. Vision and hearing impaired escape artists may struggle in these rooms without proper assistance, but most clues are not exclusively based on hearing or seeing something that you can’t feel.
Yes
It is in a shopping strip in Orlando.

This was so, so good. We made the two hour trip for this, and every single time we are able to make it to EV it’s always worth the wait. Their rooms never disappoint. The flow of the game was fantastic, puzzles were on point, our GM was amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
