Very very worn down. The GM could hardly speak English and all the communication and hints where through a voice modulator so we couldn’t understand what was said. It is a Saw game, so don’t get your hopes up about an interview situation.

We were two people playing The Interview, and honestly…what a disappointment. The room itself feels extremely worn down and heavily used. It’s very obvious that it hasn’t been properly maintained. On top of that, it was almost impossible to hear what the gamemaster was saying. He spoke through the microphone constantly, and unfortunately with a really unpleasant attitude. I understand that he was trying to play the “boss” role, but there’s a big difference between acting and just being rude. To be fair, he did give us a lot of extra time and allowed us to finish the entire room, which we appreciated. However, when we came out, his attitude was the worst I’ve ever experienced in an escape room???He complained that we were the only booking that day, said he didn’t even like escape rooms himself, and didn’t have anything positive to say about the room either. It was a really unfortunate start to our trip to Madrid.

Really enjoyed the Interview experience from the moment you enter until the moment you escape it was very immersive. The GM played a great character. There are a lot of puzzles to enjoy and a lot of variety. I recommend to play this with 4 people, 2 can be a bit hard like it happened with us that ended up being 5 min or so overtime, but the GM was accommodating and we were allowed to complete the room. If you are in Madrid for a while be sure to pay Cubick Room Escape a visit for a quick Interview!
