Having played over 150 rooms I have certainly come across a bad egg or two, however, this our team agreed was the worst and put us off completing another room with the company. The room was desperately outdated and needs renovating, the escape room market has moved on, and there is no excuse not to update older rooms to keep them fresh for new visitors. Many things in the room were loose or damaged, the room itself was rather plain and the puzzles were illogical. The room did not seem to flow and despite solving puzzles correctly the games master informed us to try again, when we tried it again still with no luck the games master entered the room (which is a big no in terms of escape room experience), this actually happened several times and as was evident when the games master tried, the puzzles needed to be shaken or ridiculously accurate to get correct. One puzzle our team one hundred percent had correct, the games master even looked at it, tried to solve it and said 'I don't know', this is not something you want to hear in a room from the employee running the game. The staff were enthusiastic enough and I appreciate they used a second language to communicate, however, a rubbish room is the same in every language and this is one to be avoided.
