So now, it’s time for you to find out why. Do you have what it takes to navigate through this mine shaft and solve the mystery of your uncle’s whereabouts? Why would he go down there? What was he after? Is he still alive? Are you ready to find all the answers? #FindUncleThaddeus

I rate this escape experience a 3/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). I give the set/theme 1 pt. It did give the feeling of being in an underground lair. A bit dated but effective. The GM, Meg, did a great job setting the theme. The puzzles were solid so 1 pt for this category. There was one puzzle we completed but didn't know how we came up with the answer. Overall, they were well implemented and went with the theme. This was a solid yet dated escape experience. I give my enjoyment 1pt.

We finished the room with approximately 15 minutes to spare as a group of 2 and with no real hints (but did have technical difficulties). The room was fun and had some cool mechanisms. There was some non linearity but not much. There didn’t seem to be very many things to do at once—maybe 1-2 puzzles to do at a time—but there were some cool puzzles and some cool mechanisms.

Really like the set design, concept was fun, we worked through the puzzles slowly but steadily. The last puzzle is quite challenging and not very intuitive. Save time for it! I’m frustrated we burned a clue on it.

Great vibe with simplicity and complexity that complimented each other. Save time for final puzzle, though!

Super fun! The puzzle Flo was perfectly decent, the set design was the highlight. Some very cool caves! Also some nice effect moments. Overall a solid room

It was fun, but the host made a crucial mistake that required him to physically step in and edit his mistake. He forgot to add the part back in. We probably should’ve gotten a refund, but didn’t. Can’t recall much else, unfortunately, given how long ago it was.

Older game, not a high production value but still fun if you are new to escape rooms. Some of the puzzles are rather easy to figure out with one needing to be upgraded.

This is one of the first rooms the company created, and many items in the room were very worn / breaking off. Many puzzles we "solved" has no reaction, and we were only told in the room that you have to hold items down for X seconds, or move things after a sequence (with no visual indication that a sequence was complete). We would have liked this room better if it receives some TLC and mechanism updates.
