Zimmer 1408 [Room 1408]

What we didn't like was the impersonal customer service. Instead of receiving a personal introduction, you're handed a tablet and asked to watch a video explaining the rules. Afterwards, a second staff member escorts you to the room, but they are not the Game Master. In fact, you never get to meet the Game Master at all. It also gives the impression that the Game Master is supervising several rooms at the same time. The very first lock was broken and it took a long time for the GM to notice and tell us. This was a flow killer and we started to doubt every other riddle because we didn't know if our solution was wrong or if something was broken again. The room had some technical effects but most of the locks still were combination locks. The end was fun. Overall it had potential but felt souleless.
