This game is one of a kind in Germany – you'll find it only here at Timebreak Mönchengladbach. 1954: the world-famous psychiatrist Dr. Brown Boyd confesses to years of experiments on his patients. Experiments that reporters describe as torture and inhumane. But it is not the agonising practices that take centre stage – it is the unnatural occurrences following the death of the last patient. Occurrences of a kind that lead his clinic staff to incriminate themselves in court. Their confessions give rise to stories, and the stories turn into rumours. Decades later, you walk past an abandoned building at night and realise it is the notorious asylum of Dr. Brown Boyd. A light is burning on the top floor, and you decide to take a quick look around.

Great spooky/horror room. Can be adapted to the players' "needs" (their willingness to endure suffering).

A fun start to our trip. Spooky atmosphere with some cool effects. Puzzles were on theme and flowed well. Completely playable in English. Noah was a great host and we had a fantastic time chatting afterwards!

Dr. Brown Boyd's Nervenheilanstalt is an exceptionally well-designed escape room that delivers a truly immersive and chilling experience. What sets this escape room apart are its unique elements and dynamic game features that I haven't encountered in other escape rooms. The storyline is well-integrated, guiding you through the setting of the abandoned asylum. The ambiance is enhanced by detailed sets, atmospheric lighting, and sound effects that make you feel like you're really inside a haunted asylum. The puzzles are a mix of traditional and intuitive tasks, requiring teamwork and creative thinking. The use of light and sound to guide players through the game is particularly impressive, and the seamless integration of these elements keeps the experience engaging and suspenseful. Overall, Dr. Brown Boyd's Nervenheilanstalt is a fantastic escape room that offers a thrilling and memorable experience. It's highly recommended for those who enjoy a scary ambience and appreciate a well-crafted, immersive environment. The game masters do an excellent job of maintaining the atmosphere and providing subtle hints when needed, ensuring that the tension and excitement remain high throughout.

Great room with amazing atmosphere. It is amazing how creative the builders were. The room itself is small, but you have so much to do and you will even think it is much bigger..

As soon as we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly manner. Our game master Nic is just mega! Very personable and heartfelt! In the meantime I felt sorry for him because my girlfriend and I are very skittish. The introduction to the game was great. I can absolutely recommend the room itself!!!!! Really atmospheric... The puzzles are tricky and easy to solve. Tips come on point and very appropriate. We will definitely be back. A clear recommendation from me. Great provider, great game master and great room!
