A very good missing person-themed escape room. The puzzles were pretty simple for us and we finished with very few hints and a lot of time to spare, but they were very enjoyable, and, more importantly, never felt unfair or demanding unreasonable leaps of judgement. But, by far, the room's strong suit was the story, partly told through the room's props, partly through acted cutscenes that play on the screen. These cutscenes are really well acted, which I haven't come to expect from escape rooms. It's like they bothered to get professional actors! 🥸 It manages to accomplish what London's ClueQuest tries yet fails, which is to make you actually feel like you're part of a secret organization of detectives. Looking forward to playing the other rooms at this business and see if these qualities persist!

As mentioned on their website, this is their first and most “classic” room. It features many analog and mechanical puzzles, but is still delightful in it’s simple, smaller scale design and even has some surprises. This room does an excellent job of balancing all those aspects of early escape experiences (finding hidden clues, key and combo locks, a missing person storyline) with solid design and well executed, logical puzzles that fit the theme. And it definitely gets your blood pumping as the end comes near!

I like the premise of the entire facility—that you’re joining an academy. It’s a nice set up for game play.
Thankful for English speaking Parisians!
