Emailed the company after this experience but got no response. My group had a 750 reservation on a weekday made a day in advance. The game master didn’t go back to the room to check it before bringing us in. The room wasn’t properly set up and multiple clues were just out that were supposed to be locked up. Safes were open that we were supposed to find codes for later. The white board had writing from the previous team that wasn’t cleared off. We are also pretty sure he fell asleep a few times. We asked for a hint and got zero response when we solved a puzzle and nothing happened. We waited with no response and kept asking for him repeatedly for him to finally be like… oh yeah that was the right answer to the puzzle but the item that was supposed to be made available is over on the table. When it was supposed to have dramatically appeared in a way that is a spoiler for this review. When we escaped, he didn’t come out or stop our time so we were all just standing there in the hallway and one of us just took a picture of the time so we knew when we got out. He eventually stumbled out and hastily ushered us out. There were no other teams there as while we were standing on the side walk he locked up and left so it’s not like he was busy.
This was the third time my group or members of my group had gone to this location. The previous two times were not bad but this one is the reason I wouldn’t go back.
