Lethal Injection

I rate this room a 3.5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). The set/theme get 1.5 pts. I find the prison theme to be a bit redundant as far as escape room genre but this one has a unique take on it with an unusual beginning. Ian (GM with many hats 😄) was awesome in fully immersing you in the theme and providing appropriate support when needed. The puzzles were mostly average earning 1 pt. I enjoyed the room enough but, even though they had a cool spin to the theme, it's still a prison room.

Mia was a great GM! My group was able to fit 4 rooms at Open Door in one day and we had a great time playing through them all. Sad to see Inheritance and Pillow Palace closing on their very last day, but all puzzles were well thought out and the atmospheres were immersive and welcoming!

This is probably our new favorite. Very fun. And a couple of new types of puzzles

Good prison break escape room. Split start was pretty quick. difficulty is about medium to hard. Did it in just under 50 minutes with just me and my son, but we have more than 20 rooms under our belt. Lots of locks, but also some cool technology components. Our gm Diego was great. My only criticism of this game is that there are a lot of 4 digit locks and that they could use some kind of labeling system. At one point I think there are about 5 available 4 digit locks with only one of the clues pointing out which lock the digits belong to (clever wordplay on that one, too). Would recommend all games at this location.

Excellent Gen 1 room with all the good things you want to see: varied and unique puzzles, purpose-built set, and (for us at least) a very-tight finish. It is a difficult room so players new to escape rooms may want to consider saving this one for later. Our GM, Riley, was fantastic with the jokes, characters, and extremely helpful and responsive when we requested a clue.

Another excellent room from Open Door. This one was really challenging but none of the puzzles left me disappointed. A clue for one of the final locks was so unique and so awesome. I loved it!

Our group's first escape room. It was a lot of fun, but probably best as an intro room despite us not even escaping. Many of the puzzles didn't feel connected, leaving us stumped trying to find what we needed to use various keys or codes on. It felt like there were distractions unintentionally too. It's a really fun room, but I wish things connected better.

Very fun room. Great story inducing you to it. Start was a little rough because we missed someone but it built up and the puzzles were pretty interesting.

Sean was a great game master. He assisted only when asked. He did friendly reminders of time left. And did his best to keep us feeling apart of the story line. I usually walk in a lobby hoping to get an idea of what the escape room will be like. It isn’t busy (decor wise) but keeps you curious. I’ve been to several. The storyline, puzzles, challenges, keeps you immersed throughout the whole game. Very creative game idea! Great job owners!

First room I ever did. And I’ve done a few since, by far my favorite room ever.
